Objective: The research was carried out in order to determine the practical experiences of the unit in charge of the patient rights in health facilities and to develop solutions to the difficulties encountered.
Material and Method: The phenomenological approach was used in the research, which was designed using qualitative research methods. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 14 managers of patient rights units in Konya using the snowball sampling method to reach the participants. In the a process of analyzing the findings, the thematic analysis method and MAXQDA 20 qualitative data analysis program were used.

Results: As a result of the research, regarding patient rights practices; It has been emphasized that the expectation level of the patients is high and the media contributes to this situation. For the unit managers; It has been emphasized that difficulties are encountered from time to time in the problem solving process, and that being a unit manager has social, physical and psychological reflections. In the case of health facilities; in addition to the importance of the physical standards of the units, it was noted that the approach of health workers and hospital management towards the patient rights units have important reflections on service delivery. Moreover; unit managers within the scope of patient rights practice makes suggestions such as improving physical standards and increasing in-service training programmes.

Conclusion: The most common problems faced by those responsible for patient rights in practice are; high expectations, inadequate physical standards, and negative perceptions regarding patient rights.
